Job Description
Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role will involve working four 10-hour shifts with shared call for night shifts and weekends, typically including on-call duties one weekend per month.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct general laboratory tests and procedures.
Perform phlebotomy and arterial blood gas draws as required.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of laboratory specimens.
Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
Proven experience in a laboratory setting.
Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and safety standards.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
