Civil Engineer – Land Development

A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development to oversee a small team of engineers and designers while managing land development projects from planning through completion. This role combines technical leadership, project management, staff development, and client coordination.

Lead and mentor a team of 2–6 engineering professionals.

Coordinate project priorities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Review engineering plans, calculations, reports, and cost estimates to ensure quality and accuracy.

Manage land development projects and supervise project teams to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, consultants, and contractors.

Participate in project planning, permitting, and approval processes.

Monitor team performance, utilization, and resource allocation.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development.

Strong technical expertise in site design, utilities, drainage, grading, and related civil engineering disciplines.

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and associated design software.
