Remote Senior Tax Preparer

Salary range : $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Workplace type : This is a fully remote position with a hybrid option (all applicants must live within a commutable distance of Panama City, FL or Jacksonville, FL to be considered)

What you will be doing :

Preparing, reviewing and/or managing deliverables, including corporate, personal, tangible, partnership, non-profit, etc. tax returns

Preparing and reviewing tax planning projections

Conducting tax research and outlining findings and conclusions

Responding to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices

Communicating directly with existing clients, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters

Assisting with business development efforts, including but not limited to, meeting with prospective clients, preparing fee quotes and proposals, and evaluating clients’ needs

Engaging in consulting and special projects as requested by Management and Clients

What qualifications we are looking for:

4+ years working for a CPA firm

Licensed CPA, EA Certification or CPA exam qualified

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work well independently as well as part of the team

Experience with UltraTax (required), Workpapers CS (preferred), Planner CS (preferred)
