Dispatcher-EMT/EMD

Virtual Vocations Inc

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Care Traffic Controller (EMT or Paramedic) will manage the intake, triage, and access to care for members, coordinating field and virtual resources while following an afternoon/evening schedule based on Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

Screen requests for services from members and coordinate assignment of care resources

Collaborate with field operations managers and Virtual Urgent Care to initiate timely responses

Identify and escalate issues related to safety, service delivery, and continuity of operations

Required qualifications

Current State Office of EMS or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians compliant EMT or Paramedic Certification

5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) Certification

Experience with crisis response programs and training
