Head of Technical Programme Management

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong development background with a passion for building mission-critical systems to support space superiority

You will serve as the owner of program execution—driving clarity, alignment, predictability, and accountability across engineering, production, security and program office

In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex, cutting edge, never before operated missile defense system, managing risk proactively, and leading programs through ambiguity

Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of program sprints, for True Anomaly’s missile defense program

Own program execution: define delivery plans, manage scope and milestones, and drive accountability across engineering and cross-functional teams

Serve as the primary delivery interface with internal engineering and program office on the execution of the program, compiling metrics on program health and status

Translate product requirements into actionable technical plans in partnership with engineering, ensuring alignment with engineering architecture and mission needs

Participate in architectural discussions, highlighting risks, identifying gaps, and ensuring decisions support delivery timelines, security posture, and system reliability

Manage and resolve cross-team dependencies across engineering, production, security and program office; Track program performance using execution metrics (velocity, predictability, defect trends, release readiness) and drive continuous improvement

Proactively identify and manage risks, tradeoffs, and blockers; Thrive in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment, creating structure, clarity, and alignment where needed

Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other software tracking toolsDeep familiarity with Agile / Scrum / Kanban processesStrong technical understanding of a relevant space defense system (satellites, missile, rockets, engines, etc.)ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if not already heldExceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical partnersPMP or Agile certification is a plusBackground in engineering, computer science or a related technical fieldPowerBI or other relevant data visualizaiton toolsExperience working classified DoW programs or relevant background.
