Construction & Design Litigation Attorney

Dunn Carney LLP’s Construction & Design Team is looking to expand! We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience handling construction litigation matters. This position will involve defending and prosecuting delay and impact claims, complex contractual disputes, lien and foreclosure claims, prevailing wage claims, construction defect claims, and similar construction-related disputes.

The preferred candidate will have experience in both state and federal courts including liens and collections, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda, overseeing document gathering and production, client and opposing counsel communication, developing case strategy, and taking and defending depositions, as well as experience in mediations, judicial settlement conferences, and arbitrations and trials.

We are seeking a self-starter who is actively engaged in their own career development and is dedicated to delivering excellent, client-focused legal services. Well-developed legal research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Demonstrated organizational and time-management competencies including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
