Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Riverside, CA

This onsite, full-time contract opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with skilled Occupational Therapists, particularly as they work through a high volume of upcoming assessments. You will contribute directly to student success, providing essential support and interventions in a collaborative and welcoming educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized therapy plans for students.

Deliver direct therapy services, supporting students developmental, educational, and functional goals.

Assist in the preparation and execution of assessments as directed by supervising OTs.

Accurately maintain documentation, tracking student progress and communicating results with the OT team.

Support classroom staff with strategies, accommodations, and resources to meet student needs.

Flexibly adapt to different campus assignments as determined after the interview process.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Valid and active California COTA license.

Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting is highly preferred.

Familiarity with IEPs and documentation practices related to special education services.

Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a positive, student-centered approach.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
