Job Title: 22105 - Travel: RN - Telemetry I/Acute MedSurg

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Telemetry/Acute MedSurg unit. This full-time position offers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an hourly pay rate of $46.90. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the nursing specialty, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and an active RN license in Texas or a compact state.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care independently, utilizing the nursing process for assessments, diagnoses, planning, interventions, and evaluations.
Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions and treatments.
Make appropriate care assignments and delegate tasks to team members, demonstrating leadership competencies.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar nursing setting preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
Active RN license in Texas or a compact state.
Successful completion of organizational orientation, competency validations, and participation in residency or orientation programs if licensed recently.
Work Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
