Anesthesiology, Full Time Anesthesiologist

HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team. This full-time W2 position offers a unique 26 weeks on/26 weeks off schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance. The role involves managing a diverse range of cases, including heavy orthopedic, general, and urology procedures, within a fully accredited, not-for-profit acute care facility. Practice Info HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital has been serving the Effingham community and the south central region of Illinois since 1875. This fully accredited, not-for-profit general acute care health facility has 133 licensed beds and is an affiliate of the Hospital Sisters Health System. Case assignments include bread and butter cases; heavy ortho, general, and urology. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $525K annually w/ call pay Sign-on bonus available Profit sharing Benefits Generous paid time off Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule 26 week on/26 weeks off schedule Full time W2 salary position Beeper call from home Requirements M.D./D.O.
