Norfolk Health & Rehabilitation Center in Norfolk, VA is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as the Director of Human Resources.
As the Director of Human Resources, you'll be at the forefront of our mission of providing Care Beyond Compare by ensuring that our healthcare center stays fully staffed with exceptional employees. You'll serve as our culture ambassador - helping new hires feel comfortable and get acquainted with the team, advancing employee engagement, encouraging employee growth and development, and so much more.

Competitive rates ranging from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour commensurate with experience

Spearhead recruitment efforts to find and hire the best candidates for each role.
Manage employee onboarding and new hire orientation; Manage bi-weekly payroll process and ensure all timecards submitted are complete and accurate.
Support staff and serve as an employee resource to answer questions related to HR matters including benefits, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate employee requests for time off to ensure proper coverage of nursing units.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience in Human Resources or related field.
Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
