Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a pivotal role in delivering quality nursing care to a group of residents/patients during assigned shifts. Working under the guidance of the Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), or Director of Nursing (DON), the RN is responsible for comprehensive assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. The RN strictly adheres to established care standards, prioritizes resident/patient safety through meticulous environmental management, and supervises the activities of nursing assistants and helpers. The role encompasses adherence to facility policies, State Nurse Practice Act regulations, and, where applicable, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility and accountability for residents/patients during assigned shifts.
Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective care plans.
Implement care plans with precision, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and adjust plans accordingly.
Maintain resident/patient safety by skillfully managing the care environment.
Provide supervision and guidance to nursing assistants and helpers.
Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by the facility.
Perform duties aligned with the State Nurse Practice Act regulations.
Comply with relevant JCAHO standards, if applicable.
Submission Requirements:

A minimum of two years of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), Medical-Surgical (MS), or Home Health is required.
BLS (AHA) certification is mandatory.
Covid vaccination is required. Medical and religious exemptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Certification Requirements:
