Human Resources Specialist

Eagle Quest is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our administrative team! Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting people and ensuring smooth HR operations? In this vital role, you’ll assist with all areas of human resources and office administration, from employee onboarding and benefits coordination to maintaining personnel records and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

You’ll work closely with the administrative department to support our growing team, maintain confidentiality, and help foster a positive and professional workplace culture.

Duties

Facilitate new hire onboarding and employee background clearance processes.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR databases.

Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Assist with employee relations, performance documentation, and annual evaluations.

Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and communication with staff.

Support recruitment efforts, including posting job ads.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED - required

Ability to keep employee information confidential

Strong organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision

Must be able to pass FBI and Interstate fingerprint background check as well as CANS (Child Abuse and Neglect) from state registry

Previous Administrative experience required; HR experience strongly preferred

Experience with BambooHR a plus!
