Chemist I-Chemistry Lab

Responsibilities

Perform sample preparation, routine analytical testing, and wet chemistry experiments to support laboratory projects.

Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography systems, and assist with basic troubleshooting.

Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to coordinate testing, sample management, and project activities.

Prepare technical documentation, including methods, protocols, and reports.

Support laboratory operations by maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and following safety procedures.

Assist with physicochemical testing and handle specialized laboratory materials with appropriate training.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Forensic Science, or a related field.

One plus years of hands‑on laboratory experience preferred; industry or internship experience is a plus.

Experience with wet chemistry and analytical techniques such as LC, GC, LC/MS, or GC/MS.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

Good written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with standard computer applications.

Eagerness to learn new laboratory techniques and adapt to evolving project needs.
