Host/Support Staff

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our bar and restaurant by assisting bartenders & servers with stocking and preparing the restaurant & lounge bar area. This is a full-time, hourly position plus tip out in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in beautiful downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Compensation & Benefits: Hourly wage based on experience, paid time off and holiday pay (full time only), health, dental, and vision insurance options, employee discounts at hotel and restaurant outlets, plus a Hilton Team Member discount.

Responsibilities: Keep restaurant area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment. Greet each guest with enthusiasm and a warm, welcoming manner. Use an I-Pad with Resy reservation system to record guest wait times, reservations and seating rotations during service. Light side work required as needed to support the team. Answer the phone and take in-room dining and to go orders. Keep track of FOH inventory and inform management when supplies are running low. Assist with closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning the host station area.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality/restaurant industry preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle a fast-paced and demanding work environment. Must be able to work mornings and weekends. Shifts typically start between 7am- 8am each day. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects on a regular basis.
