Description:
The position is for a travel RN in Labor and Delivery.
The shift will be from 7 PM to 7 AM.
The unit consists of 14 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum rooms and two operating rooms.
There are approximately 60 staff members on this unit.
The staffing ratio is 1:1 to 1:2 maximum for Labor and Delivery and 3:1 for Postpartum, following AWHONN guidelines.
The unit utilizes Beacon EMR and Meditech/CPN systems.
Candidates with prior Meditech experience and postpartum experience are highly preferred.
Typical procedures include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&C procedures.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, flexible, and consistent, with a focus on maintaining a drama-free work environment.
Consideration will be given to the latest technology and equipment used in the unit, as well as the tenure and experience of the staff.
The schedule offers options that accommodate travel professionals.
