Purchasing Buyer, Senior
Virtual Vocations Inc
A company is looking for a Senior Category Buyer, responsible for driving sourcing activities for large and high-value product categories.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement activities and ensure alignment with corporate goals and supply chain strategies
Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, identifying new suppliers and implementing cost-effective solutions
Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities and ensure competitive pricing
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience in procurement or category management, focusing on large and complex categories
Strong knowledge of the building material industry to support Supply Chain objectives
