Phlebotomist

Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime and rotating weekends may be required.

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Valid California State‑issued Phlebotomy License

1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist

In lieu of the state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Able to attend a 2-week training in California

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
