The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating transportation services, supporting field crews, and ensuring transport requests are managed efficiently and professionally. Maintain communication with crews and account for unit status throughout the shift.
Notify facilities, passengers, or callers regarding delays or schedule changes.
Update schedules and transport information in real time throughout the shift.
Communicate accurate and timely information to field staff.
Provide exceptional customer service and perform customer service-related duties as needed.
Maintain professionalism and effective communication with crews, facilities, patients, and callers.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatching, scheduling, and database systems quickly.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to high performance standards.
