We are seeking an experienced Machinist Lead to join our team on first shift. This role combines hands-on machining expertise with administrative, communication, and leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both on the shop floor and in an office environment, utilizing Microsoft Office applications, coordinating with team members, and supporting operational improvements. This position is considered a key leadership development opportunity, with the potential to grow into a higher-level management role in the future.
Lead and support daily machining operations.
Assist with production planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting, tracking, and documentation.
Communicate effectively with production personnel, management, and other departments.
Monitor quality, productivity, and process improvements.
Troubleshoot machining and production issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Maintain production records and operational documentation.
Support training and development of team members.
Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
Excellent computer and data-entry skills.
