Histotechnologist **Urgent Need**

Histotechnician 1
The Histotechnician 1 prepares specimens for microscopic evaluation and diagnosis. Operates and maintains laboratory instruments, records, and documentation with minimal supervision.
Location BSWH BUMC Downtown Dallas TX
Shift Day Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm Saturday rotation every 5th Saturday. Saturday hours 6am - 2:30pm
Preferred Experience Must hold HT credentials with at least 1 years of histology experience. Experience with performing routine surgical pathology task required.

Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.

Knowledge of laboratory regulations, protocols and procedures.
Ability to perform laboratory protocols and procedures.
Skill in the use of computers and related software applications.
