Systems Engineering Analysis, Senior

Boeing, Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team located in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-10 members and 5-8 matrixed organizations, assessing technical performance and influencing product direction.

Use integrated program planning to align system development efforts with customer needs and business goals, and track key performance metrics.

Maintain status in EVM, JIRA, Calendar and other trackers, and manage system risk and maturity throughout the program lifecycle.

Mentor early‑career engineers and senior engineers transitioning to the Systems Engineering Discipline; work with division and other experts to steer the development of processes.

Support the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization’s Precision Engagement Systems (PES) team, providing unique capabilities on Direct Attack programs (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and derivatives).

Other Requirements

Position is 100% onsite in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required, with interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post‑start.

U.S. Person required per U.S. export control compliance.

Variable shift: 1st shift.

Relocation may be offered based on candidate eligibility.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or an equivalent non‑US qualification directly related to the work statement.

Typically 14 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Security Clearance.

Experience applying engineering processes and principles.

Domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation.

Experience with systems development and integration.

Experience modeling or simulating systems.

Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (e.g., Earned Value Management, DOORS, CAMEO).

Experience with Model‑Based Engineering / Model‑Based Systems Engineering.

Experience in design, electrical, software engineering & analysis.

Experience in Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering.

Experience leading teams, projects or tasks.
