Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Location: St. Paul, MN
Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Summary :
We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and shipping/receiving activities. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory is accurately maintained, materials are properly stored, and orders are prepared and shipped to customer sites in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials and accurately store them in designated warehouse locations.
Prepare customer orders accurately for shipment according to established processes.
Label and meter packages using various freight/shipping systems.
Process inventory and shipping orders using the SJM ERP system.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
Perform material handling and ensure materials are delivered to required areas on time.
Assist with Shipping & Receiving activities as needed.
Complete daily preparations for the following day's distribution activities.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
Follow all applicable safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Support divisional initiatives and requirements related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
Comply with applicable regulatory and company requirements.
Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds .
Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or distribution is preferred.
Experience working with an ERP or inventory management system is a plus.
