Litigation Attorney - Temporary

Job Description
A respected national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing St. Louis office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong defense litigation background who is looking to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities

Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and colleagues.
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups and offices.
Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Missouri bar admission required.
• Illinois bar admission preferred.
• 5+ years of defense litigation experience.

~ Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Employment litigation
• Construction defect litigation
• General liability defense

Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage files while working effectively within a team environment.
Self-starter with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $105,000 - $150,000 , commensurate with experience.
• Hybrid work arrangement.
