Remote Bioinformatician
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role: Bioinformatics Analyst at a molecular diagnostics company focused on non‑invasive cancer detection using cell‑free DNA‑based liquid biopsies.
Responsibilities analyze NGS sequencing data, maintain and optimize existing workflows, develop new automated pipelines, collaborate with operations, science, and engineering teams, and support validation studies of liquid biopsy products.
Requirements BA/BS or MS in Biology, Computer Science, or related field
proficiency in Python
experience with data analysis, visualization, and version control
strong communication skills
experience with NGS data processing, cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), and scientific computing is a plus.
High-Value involvement in liquid biopsy development, NGS data analysis, validation studies, and multi‑functional collaboration.
Work Setup flexible; remote with quarterly travel to Colorado headquarters.
