Prep Chef - full-time

Kikka sushi, located in the Whole Foods Market located at 14615 W 119th St, Olathe, KS 66062 is looking for a dependable Food Prep / Cook, who will work by themselves , making sushi in advance and per customer's request. No experience making sushi, no problem we will teach you! The team member who will work by themselves will also make salad rolls, poke bowls, and spring rolls, clean, prep foods for that day and the next day, all while greeting, talking to and thanking all customers who come into the area. Once a week you will need to put away the shipment when it comes in.

Full Time only, 5 days a week, Friday – Sunday a must, 7am – 4pm (includes a hour unpaid meal break).

To thrive you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, be willing to learn and work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to make sushi quickly and look nice too), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few weeks or a couple of months) and be responsible and have good work ethic as you will work by yourself.

Pay: $17.00 per hour, no tips allowed.

Be 18 years of age or older

Know what with sushi is (hint: it’s not raw fish)

Work all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments

Food handling experience and food handler certification
