Job Summary:

The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Fullerton, California. The role involves providing outpatient post-anesthesia recovery services and requires candidates to bring their active California nursing license on the first day. The position involves day shifts with post-shift call obligations, and candidates must have a minimum of three years of PACU experience to be considered.
Job Details:
Location: Fullerton, California
Schedule: 8-hour shifts during the days, with post-shift call required from 1800 to 2100 hours
Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license in hand; minimum of 3 years of PACU experience; required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS; charting experience with Epic EMR system; community hospital experience is required; ability to work 40 hours per week; candidates with no experience will not be considered
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient and ambulatory care, extensive knowledge of airway assessment, sedation, and pain management procedures, and familiarity with the Epic charting system
Additional Information: Candidates must include RTO requests at time of submission and submit two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years. Mandatory commitment to working three of the five major holidays is required. No open license hits will be approved, and license/blood screen results should be disclosed upfront.
