We’re Hiring: Shipper I, 1st Shift

Prepare outgoing products and materials for shipment according to established shipping procedures and work instructions.

Count, weigh, and verify outgoing shipments to ensure orders are accurate before they leave the facility.

Load trucks and containers using floor-loading methods or a forklift based on shipment requirements.

Operate internal computer systems to check product status, track shipments, and maintain accurate records.

Work from purchase orders, computer-generated information, shipping procedures, and written or verbal instructions.

Maintain daily shipping, production, and material movement records as required.

Identify and report faulty equipment, damaged materials, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse area.

Follow all established safety procedures and Pelican quality standards.

1-2 years of shipping experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience preparing, packaging, and loading products for shipment.

Ability to accurately count, weigh, label, and verify outgoing materials.

Basic computer skills and comfort using internal systems to track products and maintain shipping records.

Forklift experience preferred; must be able to obtain Pelican forklift certification during the initial trial period.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping orders accurately and safely.

Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm Eastern Time

Flexibility with working hours and overtime is required based on shipping and business needs.

Overtime may include evenings and weekends, with or without advance notice.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
