Flex: Process Engineering Tech

The Process Engineer will design manufacturing processes and material flows for wiring harness/connector/FPC products. This person will be pursuing continuous improvement of cost, productivity and quality in the process, material flows, and tooling performance.

This role will be supporting manufacturing processes for our wiring harness, connectors and FPC Products.

Own end-to-end industrialization for Connector, Cable or FPC products, including line design, balancing, capacity modelling, and ramp-up to MP; steward the optimized manufacturing processes.

Define the automation roadmap (Ex: auto bin changeover, auto packing) and drive cycle-time optimization; Work extensively on manufacturing process design

Must have an understand stamping, molding, plating and automation line concept design, mechanical design, PLC or machine control and vision system.

Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).

• 3+ years in wiring harness or connector/FPC manufacturing
• Process/automation line design from end to end (new development to operation, machine building, debugging, maintenance, continuous improvement)
• Quality & Safety: Master's Degree in Engineering discipline

This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
