Steward Supervisor

As a Steward Supervisor, you are the frontline defender of kitchen safety and sanitation. You will oversee the daily activities of the culinary utility staff, ensuring all food and beverage venues meet strict health and safety standards. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who can manage chemical inventories, monitor equipment performance, and maintain a sanitary environment across multiple kitchen areas in a fast-paced facility.

Maintain kitchen sanitation, perform deep cleanings of the facility and specialized equipment, and inspect for potential health code violations.

Check and document dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer levels; monitor and change chemicals as required.

Order supplies as needed, assist in the dish room during staffing shortages, and clean dishwashing machinery after use.

Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure clear communication and smooth operations across shifts and locations.

High School Diploma or GED.

At least 1 year of related experience in a kitchen, sanitation, or utility role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Comfort working in environments with extreme temperatures and exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Strong ability to manage multiple projects and maintain professional relationships with management and coworkers.
