HR Generalist Recruitment & Administration

Front Desk - Human Resource Assistant
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Location: Roanoke, Virginia

Perform a variety of Human Resources administration functions, including conducting hiring processes, new associate orientation, administering benefits, entering associate information into the automated resource system, maintaining personnel files, and more.

Provide professional telephone reception by answering and directing incoming calls promptly and courteously.

Greet visitors upon arrival and prepare them for interview with required paperwork.

Screen candidates and conduct interviews for security officer positions.

Coordinate licensing activity with supervisors, issue guard cards, and notify management of any irregularities in licensing procedures.

Orient new employees and prepare necessary paperwork for personnel files.

Assist with maintaining officer training records and DCJS license documentation.

Update and maintain confidential personnel files to document personnel actions and provide information for payroll and other uses.

Maintain the Uniform Room and handle uniform ordering.

Examine personnel files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons.

Create and maintain statistical information, including spreadsheets and graphs, typically included in reports.

Perform tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.

Other duties as assigned.
