Home Health Care Licensed Practical Nurse For Weekends (LPN)

Registered NurseProvides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician orders. The care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses or Licensed Vocational Nurses. Periodic office meetings are also required. A contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. If there is a situation where the contractor is unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census, they should discuss floating to a nearby clinic to pick up hours. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All candidates must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last six months. Delayed and incomplete documentation that impacts billing and follow-up patient care may also result in a cancel.
