As a Teacher, you will deliver exceptional instruction and assess student growth while proactively supporting your school and team.

Develop year‑long Texas State standards‑based unit plans and lesson plans that meet all students’ learning needs.

Use assessment data to modify short‑ and long‑term plans to promote all students’ academic performance.

Collaborate with content and grade‑level teams to promote an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor.

Participate in daily school functions such as morning, lunch, and afternoon supervisory duties.

Attend critical school events such as staff meetings, open houses, and parent‑teacher conferences.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.

Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for level and/or subject area of assignment, if applicable.

Valid Texas Teacher’s certificate required for all Pre‑K4 and Special Education teaching positions. Unwavering commitment to KIPP Texas mission, students, families, and community.

Strong record of helping students achieve academic success, primarily with students in underserved communities.

Desire to teach an academically intense curriculum and commit to an extended school day, week, and year.

Ability to move inside and outside the school throughout the workday.

Expected to attend conferences, meetings, and training sessions both virtually and in person within the region.

Reliable transportation needed for travel between campuses.

Reports to school site Monday‑Friday.

Typical school environment with frequent interruptions.

Travel Requirements

Minimal travel; may travel to other school sites or regional offices for professional learning or meetings.
