Martin North Hospital's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) provides 24/7 care for critically ill patients. It has a shared governance professional practice model that allows for multidisciplinary team collaboration, working on solutions to best innovate, improve and advance their mission. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will be a patient advocate and provide expert care in critical situations. You will interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, helping enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including advanced clinical training, certifications, educational programs, and more. You may also float to other Martin locations, creating another avenue through which to develop knowledge within various units. A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00 P M 7:30 A M. Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Critical care experience Personal Protective Equipment: ~ Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
