We are seeking experienced Hospital Pharmacists for an immediate contract opportunity with a leading healthcare facility in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital pharmacy experience, strong clinical knowledge, and a commitment to medication safety and regulatory compliance. As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while supporting inpatient and outpatient care throughout the facility. This role requires expertise in medication verification, sterile compounding, clinical pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance within a hospital setting.

Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, regulatory requirements, and New York State pharmacy guidelines

• Maintain accurate patient and medication records utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Participate in sterile processing activities and support the safe handling of pharmaceuticals
• Support medication safety initiatives, inventory management, and formulary compliance efforts
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacist experience required
• Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or higher required
• Current and active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED) required
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication management practices
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems preferred
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
• Clinical pharmacology and drug interaction monitoring
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation
• Medication safety and regulatory compliance
• Inventory management and formulary support
• Hospital pharmacy operations
