The Production Team Member –Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our pontoon boats ranging from checking manufacturing processes, mechanical operation, and/or electrical/component checks and troubleshooting and resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections, adhering to established standards, and contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional products with a focus on Quality, Service, and Innovation.

Conduct thorough inspections of manufacturing processes, mechanical operation, and/or electrical and related components of pontoon boats to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

Identify and document any defects, damages, or deviations from specifications.

Work closely with the production and assembly teams to address and rectify any issues identified during inspections.

Recommend quality control measures to enhance the overall product quality.

Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommended actions.

Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate them to relevant departments.

Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and customer service, to address and resolve issues identified during inspections.

Provide feedback to improve the manufacturing and assembly processes.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to the inspection process.

Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed during the inspection process.

Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to pontoon boat manufacturing and inspection.

Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifying opportunities to mitigate job‑related risks and hazards.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in quality inspection or quality control within the marine industry is a plus; Knowledge of pontoon boat construction, systems, and components is a plus but not required.

Effective communication skills to convey inspection findings and collaborate with other departments.

Ability to work flexible hours (overtime) if needed.
