Corporate Law Associate Attorney

GENERAL SUMMARY / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Associate Corporate Counsel is responsible for supporting the Office of Corporate Counsel in providing legal and regulatory advice and counsel, applicable to Crown’s day-to-day activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (will include but are not limited to): Help managing basic adverse litigation to include tracking, assisting in development of litigation strategy, and management of outside counsel.

Assist licensing department, including researching licensure requirements for new applicable licenses for the business.

Drafting and negotiating vendor contracts and managing vendor contract management system.

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.

Collaborate with departments company-wide to provide guidance on legal issues.

Managing other related projects, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Licensed to practice law in one state where Crown Asset Management, LLC operates.

One to two years’ experience as a practicing attorney either in-house or with a law firm.

Experience with litigation and the financial services industry a plus, but not required.

Strong drafting, problem solving and project management skills.
