(Energy) Human Resources Generalist

Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, open enrollment, and communicating benefits information to employees

Perform payroll administration, including compiling and entering payroll data such as garnishments, insurance, and 401(k) deductions, polling electronic time clocks, processing and reviewing changes, conducting bi-weekly payroll, and generating various payroll reports

Interview, screen and recruit job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings

Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations

Conduct new-hire on-boarding and orientation process

Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations

Bachelor’s degree in management or business-related field

1-3 years of experience in Human Resources role

Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn the HRIS

Interact professionally and confidently with other employees, customers, and contacts
