Bilingual Human Resources Generalist

New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations for a maritime company. This full‑time position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, people‑focused professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The HR Generalist will be responsible for employee relations, onboarding, payroll support, recruitment efforts, and ensuring accurate timekeeping for hourly employees. Essential Duties Process and review weekly time entry for hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and timely submission into ADP. Collect and verify employee time records and resolve payroll discrepancies. Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation and required documentation. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing questions and concerns professionally. Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events to attract qualified candidates. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes. Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed. Requirements / Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Previous Human Resources experience preferred. Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Professional, dependable, and customer‑service oriented. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment for prolonged periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to attend job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
