Position Overview
Deliver specialized nursing care in labor and delivery settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include monitoring labor progression, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in labor and delivery nursing
Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
Valid license and certifications for practice in the state
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass background and drug screening
Key Duties
Provide direct patient care in labor and delivery units
Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures
Monitor fetal and maternal health indicators
Educate patients and families about care processes
Maintain accurate medical records
