24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (see JD). Unit Details
Procedures and unit details include EGD, bronchoscopy, Swann, and traction.
Patient population includes general SICU and MICU, Neuro ICU, vascular, trauma, and thoracic overflow.
Shift & Scheduling
Variable 12-hour shifts: 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30.
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Every other weekend.
Holidays as needed.
Critical care float pool nurses are assigned out of the staffing office and may be assigned to MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, CVSICU, IMC units, and ED/PACU to care for ICU/IMC boarders across the house.
