Position Type Dispatch Job Shift 10hr Travel Percentage Negligible Category IC1

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.

Partner with terminal manager to plan and carry out shipping operations

Image/Scan documents into the dispatch system

Data entry of driver detention pay, calculate hourly pay, layovers, breakdowns

Receive orders from customers and create loads in dispatch system

Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts

Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously

Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

High school diploma or equivalent
