Luke's is seeking qualified candidates for the System Administrator 3 position on the Imaging Informatics (PACS admin) team.Under minimal supervision, the System Administrator 3 installs and maintains enterprise IT systems, environments, and related software to ensure integrity, performance, and reliability. This general classification supports a variety of IHT administration specialties across the Health System, including Communication, Desktop, Network, Storage, Infrastructure, Integration, and Imaging Informatics administration.Evaluates system specifications, input and output processes, operating parameters, and hardware and software compatibility.troubleshoots network, server, storage, and related infrastructure issues; Ensures compliance with software licensing and maintenance agreements.Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimal performance, availability, and reliability.Ensures long-term system operations and administration requirements are incorporated into organizational information systems planning.Develops and maintains a comprehensive library of technical and operational support documentation.Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring; may serve as a technical lead.Imaging Informatics / PACS Specialty ResponsibilitiesAdminister, support, and optimize enterprise imaging platforms, including PACS, VNA, diagnostic viewers, voice recognition, image exchange, and related imaging applications.Design, maintain, and improve imaging workflows, interoperability, and integrations across radiology, enterprise imaging, Epic, and other clinical systems.Lead imaging system upgrades, migrations, modernization initiatives, testing, validation, and production deployments.Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance monitoring, and business continuity support to ensure reliable, high-availability imaging services.Develop and maintain imaging standards, documentation, operational procedures, cybersecurity controls, regulatory compliance, and disaster recovery plans.Serve as a technical leader and trusted partner to clinicians, radiologists, operational leaders, vendors, and technology teams while mentoring team members and participating in 24×7 on-call support.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of healthcare imaging operations, clinical workflows, and diagnostic reading environments.Experience administering PACS, VNA, enterprise viewers, radiology information systems, voice recognition solutions, image exchange platforms, or related imaging technologies.Experience integrating imaging platforms with Epic or another electronic health record.Experience with server administration, virtualization, storage, databases, networking, cloud-hosted environments, monitoring, cybersecurity controls, and disaster recovery.Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects, coordinate vendors, communicate during critical incidents, and work effectively with multidisciplinary clinical and technical teams.Experience supporting radiologists, imaging departments, and large-scale or multi-site healthcare environments.Preferred CertificationsCertified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP).Epic Radiant, Cupid, or related enterprise imaging certification.Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
