Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population experiencing various medical emergencies. The role requires a proactive, easy-going attitude and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Providing emergency care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including advanced paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries.
Assessing patient acuity and prioritizing care based on clinical needs.
Performing essential procedures and utilizing standard emergency/trauma equipment.
Documenting patient information and care procedures through the EMR system - Meditech.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current Texas RN licensure or compact license eligibility.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Triage and Navigation Certification Courses such as TNCC, SAMA, or CPI.
