Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift)
Weatherford, TX | Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: August 24, 2026
Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit serving a mixed medical patient population
Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 in alignment with unit staffing standards
Collaborate with a night shift team that typically includes a charge nurse coordinator, RNs, and patient care technicians
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Participate in unit float rotation as needed
Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step-Down environment
Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records
Join a supportive, experienced unit team with no on-call requirements, allowing for a more predictable schedule
Gain valuable travel nursing experience in a well-structured PCU setting with a manageable 4:1 patient ratio
