Material Handler Inventory Warehouse

We are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team.The successful candidate meets safety, production,sustainability,and quality standards. The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achievethe company'score strategies and moves productsto accommodate production.

Compensation: $19.00 hourly

Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.

Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.

Safely operates material moving equipment.

Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Correctly enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll.

Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations

Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.

Report all Safety concerns immediately.

Participate in Process Improvement opportunities.

Ability to communicate both written and verbally in English.

High school diploma or equivalent training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.

Ability to operate material handling equipment. Forklift experience, required.

Computer literacy.

Knowledge in Inventory Control and shipping/receiving activities is a plus.

Works in a manufacturing environment and will be required to wear safety shoes, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment as required while performing duties.

May need to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, crouch, stoop, bend, sit, squat, twist, grasp, type, cut, push, pull, reach and climb as needed.

Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
