Law - Paralegal

About the role
The Paralegal in this role will support attorneys handling civil defense litigation matters . This is a hands-on position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while working collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and staff in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do

Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, and reports under the attorney's direction
Prepare and track subpoenas and other requests for information
Organize, maintain, and manage case files (physical and electronic)
Monitor case progress and escalate issues requiring attorney involvement
Maintain and manage attorney calendars, including trial dates and discovery deadlines
Assist with trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, coordinating materials, and organizing case files
Conduct legal research and assist with case development as needed
Review, organize, and summarize case-related documents and records
Coordinate with clients, experts, and court personnel
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation , preferably in a high-volume law firm environment
• Experience with state and federal court filing , including e-filing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Paralegal certificate a plus
