TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Fullerton, California, 92835!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend availability required
Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage independently and without supervision
Monitor and assess laboring patients at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Float to Mother Baby unit as needed to support unit staffing requirements
Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective maternal and neonatal outcomes
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (no pending licenses accepted)
Minimum of 1.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience; AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (hard stop requirement)
Epic EMR experience required
Experience floating to Mother Baby units in an acute care environment
Ability to accommodate flexible scheduling including weekends beyond every other weekend to meet unit needs
Work in a 320-bed acute care hospital with complimentary on-site parking
Scrubs provided for Labor and Delivery staff
