Project Manager I Or II – Structured CablingMortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager I or II - Structured Cabling to join our team. Project Managers will provide overall leadership direction to a project; including the management of project quality, timeliness, and safety, as well as mentoring the project team. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 or 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Location: TBD – location and project will be assigned. This role will require 100% travel on a rotational basis (on average it could be 3-4 weeks on a project site / about 1 week at home. This schedule is an estimate as it is also based on project need)Traveling opportunities across the U.Organization, flexibility, outstanding customer focus, and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:Manage the overall financial health of projectsSupport and potentially lead EPC contract negotiations with customers, including assembly of technical exhibits, the scope of work, and project schedules to align with contract requirements.Including RFP creation, vendor solicitation, technical scoping, risk analysis, budget alignment, and contract negotiations.Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projectionsDetermine and allocate project estimates into the financial systemDetermine cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisionsProvide financial and billings to Accounting for timely paymentCreate monthly owner billingsManage subcontracts and suppliers for the projectOversee budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliersHandle billings and contract management, including contract buyoutsManage Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)Provide job assignments and manage career developmentApprove timecards for on-site team membersProvide ongoing feedback on work performanceFunction as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representativeAssist with the review of the owner agreementResolve site concerns for the owner or representativeProvide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunitiesManage change ordersDetermine when to submit to the owner or on-site representativesObtain the customer/architect's approvalQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experienceMicrosoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelProven ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksPossess a basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesProven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsCurrent driver's licenseAbility to travel up to 100%Experience with Primavera (P6) scheduling software (preferred)Project Manager I Qualifications:6+ years of related commercial construction project management or related experienceProject Manager II Qualifications:7+ years of related commercial construction project management or related experience with large projects ($20M+)A few benefits offered include:Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base compensation range for this role is: $113,500 - $198,200.
