Head of Recruiting & HR

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a specialization in recruitment and employee relations. This role will be integral in supporting the organization’s talent acquisition strategies and fostering a fair, consistent, and positive employee experience. The HR Generalist will partner with department leaders and employees to deliver responsive, people-focused HR services.

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions.

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and create tailored recruitment plans.

Manage job postings on internal and external platforms, ensuring visibility and reach to target audiences.

Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive networking, job fairs, and industry events.

Support and enhance onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless new hire experience.

Employee Relations

Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on workplace concerns, policies, and employee relations matters.

Support timely, objective workplace investigations and document findings and recommended actions.

Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and consistent policy application.

Partner with the VP, HR on employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

General HR Support

Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed, including employee engagement, diversity and inclusion efforts, and organizational development.

Work Experience

5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and/or employee relations.

Education/Training

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field required.

Broad understanding of key principles and practices in Human Resources Management

Strong understanding of best practices in recruitment, including sourcing and screening strategies and technology

Knowledge of employee relations practices, including workplace investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment law compliance

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Experience with ADP or other HRIS preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000 , with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role may be eligible for bonus or additional compensation, where applicable.
