RN L&D - Night Shift

Registered Nurse - Maternity Unit
This position involves 3 shifts per week on the Night shift, from 19:00 to 07:30, totaling 36 hours per week. The schedule includes at least 1-2 weekends per month and no holidays.
Job Description
The Maternity Unit is a family-centered, multidisciplinary care area committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience. The unit is dedicated to delivering high-quality antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care while promoting patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences through collaboration among the care team.
Responsibilities

Provide high-quality postpartum and baby care.
Monitor and support antepartum patients, including antepartum monitoring.
Ensure patient safety and promote a positive birth experience.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
Float to Labor & Delivery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

At least 1 year of nursing experience in maternity care.
Experience with postpartum care and baby care.
Fetal monitoring experience (certification not required).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
